Who owns the Copyright of ChatGPT creations?
Chat GPT has presented many incredible features that made half of the world think about the future of our jobs and the substitution of human creative processes. Nevertheless, one of the most impactful legal dilemmas is about the Intellectual Property and Copyright of ChatGPT creations once it uses artificial databases to create a single result that cannot be replicated until now. Apparently, there are three possible answers so far:
Copyright would be owned by the person/company that designed ChatGPT.
ChatGPT itself would own the copyright. Can you even imagine how that would be?
Copyright would be shared between the company and the creator.
If anyone can create something from scratch, is the visual or textual product owned by someone, or it can or can´t be commercialized without infringing the IP laws?
There are definitely no right answers so far, but as legal service providers, CLV and its lawyers will keep a close eye on that matter.
